anything is possible but it's not the best idea. bleach is very harsh on your hair so you wouldn't want to put color first so it has to work harder. putting the black first would be like trying to get a shirt its whitest white but putting grease stains on it first.

if you want to do the black first (and you are aiming for that half%26amp;half contrast look) ..put conditioner on the 'to be' blonde part the put it on a ponytail and wrap it in foil or something to protect it. then when you go back to bleach the other part, put the black part up tight and put conditioner on the parts that border where there will be bleach to help avoid spotting. make sure you watch the bleach closely and condition it well after.

DON"T USE BLEACH!!! it can kill your hair.

go to the salon and have them do it for you.

with my experience I did that, and i had to bleach it 4 times to get it all out.. first my roots turned bright yellow, the rest was orange and brown and red and then after 4 times it finally went a light blonde..

my hair felt like straw though. aha

The best thing to do is only dye the part you want black by separating your hair then bleach the part you want blonde. There is no need to do the black on both parts, plus the bleach will have to process alot longer to get through the black and it will probably come out orange instead of blonde because of the black dye.

Just bleach the part you want blonde. But bleach is very harsh, so go to the salon and get whatever you want acheived. But if thats not in your budget dont color the part you want blonde black... from experiance it will def. turn orange.

if you bleach it right away the chemicals in the dye can irritate your skin. you don't want that . . . . . . . . trust me

well, yea, dye it black and about a month later (it says it on the box to not dye it again for a period of time[pretty sure it's a month] ) go to a salon and get it done.
