I have naturally dark brown hair and I want to dye it black. I also want to put blue highlights in afterwards. Will i have to bleach my hair to get the blue to show?

no, why would it? if you use the right grade of black, the blue highlight should still show up. But becareful not to have the blue dominate the black or damage you hair on both colors.

if you put blue in it and really want it to show up u are going to have to bleach it, unless you want really dark blue

if your dying your hair black by yourself, i would recommend

you do it now and wait like 4 weeks to get the blue highlights.

i didnt do that, and my hair didnt turn out so well.

as for the highlights, you have to get your hair bleached for

the blue to show up. and you might want to get this done

professionally because it might be a bit difficult for the black hair dye to be bleached out!
