do you live in Chicago?
if not i would take about 200 because there might
be some stores you would like to look around in.
plus it would be better to have a little too much
than a little to little=]

I am so jealous you are going because I went last year and had so much fun. If you have more money take it! That's the reason why I'm not going becasue if I go then I wan't lots of money to spend. The classes though are pretty expencive but there are so many stage shows going on, that I think you won't need to go to the classes. I hope you have fun, I know you will.

About $300 or more to be safe.

I'd say if you're going to Chicago, then at least 50 for the city (transportation/parking, food, etc.) and that's a little bit on the safe side. In addition to the 50, then w/e you plan on spending at the show. Generally, at those types of shows and conventions, the prices are a little cheaper for the products, but you'll still end up spending more money than you think. So bring w/e you're willing to spend and set a limit.
...I've never been to a hair show, nor do I plan on ever attending one, but if each thing only costs $5 or $10, then you're obviously not going to need $500.
woops.. after reading some of those posts, you might need $500.
